Solusek Ro faction

I've heard that the easiest way to raise faction with the Temple of Solusek Ro is to give the money to that erudite in South Ro. The wiki says that you're supposed to give 30 gold pieces. But Rathmana himself says earlier in the dialogue that he wants 20 gold pieces...but (and I may be remembering this incorrectly) I seem to recall a while ago somebody telling me that all you had to give him to get the faction increase was 2 gold pieces. Which is correct? Basically, what's the lowest amount I have to give this dude to get my faction bumped up?

Probly like the qeynos guy. You hand him a giant pile of gold and then turning in 1g will trigger the quest and take the gold from his inventory to finish

This quest is also a very easy (and free) way to raise Sol Ro faction.

Additionally, you can always just farm Shadowed Men by running back and forth between the camps in Nektulos and Lavastorm Mtns.

The difficulty with the solusek flower quest listed in the post above is that there is a wandering mob that sometimes paths on a patrol route near the back of the crypt area where the friendly Shadowed man is, and it can aggro if you're there at the right time. I had a lowbie character attempting to raise faction with this quest and I got gobbled up about 20 minutes into it.

The faction hits from the flower aren't all that great. The quest in South Ro desert gives much stronger hits, or seemed to on this server. If your character's level is high enough to where you wouldn't worry about a high 20's mob attacking it while turnining in flowers, go for it. Otherwise, raise it in the desert.

Huh? Sorry, I don't understand. Which Qeynos guy are you talking about?

Try giving him 2 gold. Then try 20. Then try 30. If 2 gold works, run with it.

iirc a long time ago I just pumped him with 2 gold for a faction increase. Could of been changed since then (this was 3 years ago or something). But yeah, just try each and if a 2 gold turn in ups factions just run with that.
