Name: Brusco's Boastful Bellow
Level: 12
Mana: 0
Class: Singing
Vendor(s):
Freeport Bard Guild
Qeynos Bard Guild
Approx Spell Cost: 6pp 5gp
Researchable: No
Type: Magic Based Single Target Direct Damage
Max Duration: Instant
Casting Time: Instant
Recast Time: Instant
Actual Effects: Target: Direct Damage (max 7-26)
Target: Stun (Cast Interrupt, PC only)
Description: A useful song for soloing. Adds significantly to the damage you can deal out to one monster.
This spell is especially useful in finishing off mobs, and to interrupt casting in duels or PVP combat. Will not interrupt NPC casters. It is rarely resisted, even by reds.

12- Brusco`s Boastful Bellow - Does DD to the target.
Uses the singing skill.
Analysis: A very useful song at lower levels, it can be compared to a warrior's Kick attack

[Rokenn] In PvP combat this song will ALWAYS interrupt spell casting

What is this song good for then? It's usefull for pulling mobs, particularly moving targets. I juggle it with Selo's to pull anything I want back to my party. It's good when soloing for extra dmg. It's good in PvP to break casters concentration.

plz fix this please

BBB has a pushback value of 1 (currently on p99 and in original/kunark/velious spdats), which is 1 less than SoL.

Since even SoL doesn't reliably interrupt (can't say whether this is because the pushback isn't always at least 2 units or because there's too much leniency in the channeling recovery formula or a combination of both), I'm not surprised BBB doesn't either.

But this is irrelevant anyway, since after the proposed resist changes go in and all pure nukes full resist 80+% of the time beyond 160 resist, who gives a shit whether they pushback enough to interrupt.

Shock of lightning interrupts well at lower levels. At high levels it seems channeling thru it is much easier.

This is assuming that things havent changed. It seems now that any damage has a chance of interrupting you, regardless of whether you've actually been moved from where your spell cast began. iow, its broken

That sounds about how it is on red, any wizard mains to comment?

SoL still lands
Higher level characters recover with more ease

The mage one behaves that way too I believe, again this is anecdotal as an alt not a main.

this along with shock of lightning, shock of blades, poison bolt, chaotic feedback, and furor should all be very difficult to resist
