Arrow New PC, install crash on loading Titanium CD

Happy 4th to all.

Just in the case someone has an answer, I just built my first pc in years with Windows 10 and have Titanium on CDs. I run Setup.exe and the cd whirls but the within seconds I just get the picture I've attached here. Error -6005.

I spent about an hour searching the forums for install errors and searched for error -6005 and have come up empty. Anyone else have this issue in the past and have resolved it?

I've not experienced this issue before, however are you able to copy the contents of CD1 to a folder on the hard drive and run setup from there?

Physical CDs or .iso files? Can you try to copy them to a totally different location? Do you have a 2nd PC you can try the copy on?

Are you able to install via .iso to the surface pro? if so can you then copy the EQ folder from that surface pro to the new Win10 machine?

that's a great idea, I'll figure out how. So basically the EQ install is just a file transfer all local to the folder it creates?
