Default Question about Client Behavior during DDOS attacks

When the server is under a DDOS attack, it seems to me that several effects happen, I wonder if everyone else experiences the same symptoms.

1. Everquest -- specifically my connection to p1999 lags very heavily then eventually disconnects -- this is obvious, I assume mostly everyone else experiences this.

2. http://www.project1999.org stops loading in my web browsers. At first I assumed this was due to the server being overloaded (perhaps this is still true), but this may be part of the attack. Does anyone else experience this?

3. http://www.eqemulator.org/ also stops loading in web browsers.

4. Everquest Launcher no longer connects to the server list. Does anyone else see this? Happening?

5. The login screen of the Everquest application times out anytime you attempt to connect.

I wonder because I have seen posts that others may be able to connect to another server here and there. Are the majority of us experiencing the same disruption as I am, or is this more unique to a few users such as myself?

There is nothing unique about any of this. The DDoS on the server (Which houses project1999.org, eqemulator.net and the login server ( as well as the server itself )) would effect all of these. This is happening across the board.
