Air Pet 50+
Any use for them?
I thought I read somewhere they are considered Monks, does this mean they'll perform flying kicks? Each of the pets at higher levels seem to have their own role, Earth - Warrior, Water - Rogue, Fire - Wizard...it would definitely be cool for the air pet to be a monk class, if it's just basically just the same pet it was while leveling up, don't ever see a situation where it is worth using. Guess i'll ask if anyone has had any experience with the Greater Voceration Fire pet, it states to cast level 40+ wizard spells, does this occur with frequency or would you simply get more dps out of the Water pet with backstabs? Thanks for any info. Signed, ~Intensely curious mage approaching 50 | ||

never had a mage that high so can't help but speaking of air pets, with a couple gnoll hide lariats and there not even close to eqlive frequency of proccing their own stun could an air pet keep a caster locked down for the most part?

Air pet can be nice for groups and occasional solo. Water pet tends to be best for just dps but when you want the group flexibility (ability to off tank add better + stun for casters) I would use air. Also air invises himself. Nice for the areas pets tend to have bad pathing or just aggro thru walls etc. Also, I used to use the 59 air for soloing seahorses in Kedge. Not super reliable stun but still good against casters.
