This is what will happen. The top guild will farm them as long as they can until there is any competition for the spawns, then they will awake it.

Xev server was virtually the last server to wake the sleeper. The top raiding guilds had agreed not to wake him and as a result many people were able to enjoy pre-sleeper items.

Then one day a new raiding guild decided to be douchebags and woke him up. The entire server denounced them, and said they wouldn't survive because of it. They insisted they would be just fine and would in no wise be breaking up over it.

They didn't survive a month before the guild completely disbanded. For the remainder of the time I played on Xev I refused to group with any player known to have partaken in waking up sleeper, and I would refuse to group with any player who participates in waking sleeper on this server.

If the trash doesn't respawn then you also lose the .. Priceless Velium weapons too. I think it was priceless, maybe exquisite? Anyway, they were identical to the Primals, but didn't have the proc.

Prismatic weapons. they are the same as primals, so waking the sleeper really has no consequence as far as these weapons. They both proc avatar, they both have the same stats, just different names.

No.. There are many drops aside from those that become unobtainable once he's spawned. Someone already listed them. SoD, Mask of Tinkering, etc.

Really there is no reason to wake him up now that the consequences are known to virtually everyone.

I don't see the point of waking the sleeper other than cool factor, and I think it was disussed that a sleeper would be allowed to be awakened and the zone reset to pre-awakening status

Yeah but iirc the 'old' pre-awakened loot gets replaced with new post-awakened loot, so you maybe lose out, but your also gain access to new set of drops.

True, does anyone have a link to a loot table? The ancient dragons that replaced the warders have revamped loot, according to Alla, it looks like.
