Bud, if you have an IP exemption, that's fine. Here's what isn't fine:

You + let's say your son both log in at the same time.

Son wanders off for 3 hours. You continue to heal or buff yourself while xping both chars. You do this for days straight or just days on and off. You get caught in the act. You get banned.

This wasn't a one time thing, it was probably obvious to the GMs that at no point did the 2 chars ever move/perform inputs at the same time for a couple of days which is just really impossible. Eventually you'd both hit say heal+taunt at the same time or turn right or left, or auto attack. It's over, you're done.
