while i agree with H about saving better, if you spend 8 hours a day in your home office/work sitting, an aeron chair is an investment towards your health/posture if you can afford it

My father in law gave me the captain seat out of an old Pontiac Montana he sold and it's fucking UNREAL. I mounted it onto some boards so it stands about 8" higher. Doesn't swivel but does he some solid lumbar support.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

rofl I have always thought about doing something like this with a drivers seat that had motorized adjustment, would be epic.

I might get one later on in the near future. I like that price better than the 800 I have been seeing

I went through $75 chair after chair for years, until I finally said fuck it I'll buy the aeron. Five years later it's still supporting my fat ass with zero issues and no scotch tape.

Same here, I ended up destroying a lot of the cheaper chairs I went for. I used a folding chair for a bit, and then a recliner, but I ended up getting back pain from the lack of support so I decided instead of messing with pillows I would just get a decent chair. Settled on the Aeron with a lifetime warranty, I have used it for 5 or 6 years now and it is great. It's the best chair I've ever had and I spend a lot of time in front of the computer for my job.
