Default Updated to 2GB of ram. - but is my graphic card dated?

Best upgrade ever. Computer no longer disconnects from the internet when it rains in FOB. But it seems like it shouldn't be a problem to begin with considering the game is over 10 years old. Is my graphic card simply not good enough? It's intel 128MB I think.

I'm not usually ever one to recommend getting a new system for EQ, but if you upgraded to 2 Gigs and have that video card I got to ask what are the specifications and age of the machine you are playing on? What was the ram before the upgrade?

Unrelated, but I remember when SoL came out and I got it for Christmas and I installed it and I was so happy and then I got the the screen where it said which new graphics you want to put on, and then it said recommended 128mb, and my computer only had 32mb and I was sad.

In regards to the OP's post--drop like 400 bucks and get a machine thats like 10x better than yours. Seriously.

I think the statement "best upgrade ever" is reserved for an SSD.

5-10 second load times ftw

I remember waiting up to 5 minutes for zones to load way back in the day.

2GB of RAM with 128MB video card is probably going to bottleneck your system. Need to upgrade your video card... but I'd say if your system has a card that bad in it, than your power supply can't handle a larger video card... So you really just need a new system all together.
