How easy is it for most online poker sites to track collusion?
Depends on the form of collusion you're referring to, but truthfully in the modern game there is very little to be gained from collusion unless you manage to get a team of people together on the double or nothings (which the Chinese have been caught doing several times on PokerStars).

Having 2 people at a 6 max table could work but it would require correct play by both AND it is easy to detect the trend over time given the huge sample sizes that regulars play. If you wanted to collude to play say, 1000 hands and try to make a crapshoot run at a big score you might not get caught, but variance and basic bankroll management principles say that you are almost guaranteed to lose in those situations and your risk of ruin % is extraordinarily high.

Isn't there a sense of collusion in double ups anyway? the top 3 usually collude until a bad beat then you collude with the new 3rd.
