What exactly is Boxing?

The real question is, how does "Boxing" affect the average, casual
Project 99 player? Reports of others "Boxing" has had no effect on me whatsoever so im curious as to how it will affect others. Thanks.

2 box duo locks down Lord/FG for weeks straight with 0 risk (enc/nec for example) and now controls your Yak/FBSS price baselines <- thats how

Yeah, that makes sense. Actually, i use the EXE AXE until it procs then switch
to the SSOY, because i do not have a haste item yet.

People don't realize how messed up everything would be if boxing was allowed. You think oh, it's not that big of a deal, I'm not effected by it now... well duh, it's not allowed, and if you have seen any of it, it's been very small numbers.

Having every zone, every camp, every spawn camped by boxers, when it's already camped by non boxers, would get very frustrating.

If you actually read the 10+ page threads on which people spent a lot of time, you'd see the same arguments you're going to get here. My guess is you didn't read those posts or any other already argued posts, or you'd have something more constructive to say.

It's clear that boxing affects the environment of the server, per Nilbog and a vast majority of the server. That's enough for them to keep it banned. If people can box, it's going to preclude a large population of people from participating in normal social interaction or grouping. It's just an obvious fact for those involved with this server and who have observed other private servers allow it.

Don't make the silly assumption that you're the first person to think "I can't think of a reason it affects me, so therefore it probably doesn't, and I won't change unless someone beats me with the facts for days on end, which isn't worth their time."

Either be intellectually honest and read the detailed arguments already put forth about it or don't bother asking. If you do, you're just proving you don't really care about getting an answer, you just feel like you should be able to box and that's all that matters to you.

Hmmmm....Crone has a point on that....Places are way overcrowded now and if you add an extra box for everyone it would be ubber boring...

Also, add in the factor that there's monthly payment for this server...everyone will box.
