Server respawns are not FFA. A mob's "Next Spawn" status indicates the class the mob belongs to whenever it happens to spawn next, whether it's a simulated repop or a normal seven or three day repop. Taken, BDA, and other Class R guilds could not have killed VS when he spawned with the simulated repop because that spawn belonged to Class C. Likewise if VS is Class R at the time a simulated repop occurs, Class C cannot attempt to kill it until six hours have elapsed. There is no apprehension among Class R guilds of having to race IB or TMO for a Class R VS spawn.

Having a class lose a mob is unfortunate but it will happen from time to time in situations like this. However there are just as many opportunities for a Class R guild to get a Class C mob due to bag limits as there are for the reverse. For instance on last Sunday's "simulated repop" Gorenaire was Class C, but was killed by a Class R guild. The C guilds had all reached their bag limits, and after six hours she lost her Class C restriction and became FFA for any guild that hadn't yet reached its bag limit.
