Removing variance and adding FTE shout to raid mobs is good enough. Then simulate full repop server crashes three times a month at set times to both add to the Classic feeling of the server, and sprinkle a little fun race mode into the game. In between, people can relax and level alts, trade, and explore.

(Of course, punishment will be severe for groups who continue to attack the now-obviously engaged mobs or otherwise subvert a raid: 1 warning of a 10 day suspension. 2nd violation results in the deleveling of the offending characters, 1% of total exp per level achieved in accordance with the SEQ fiasco. This will be a public enough shaming of the players involved and their guild leaders will know about it and be able to further punish them. 3rd violation results in character terminations. Mileage may vary but I feel this is a fair ruleset.)

This solution is elegant, simple, and most importantly, Classic. Best of all, it would mean the death of poopsocking and one-guild dominance. Bring the fun back to P99!

Let's all agree on one easy plan and get on with this. Something should be done.

Pretty sure most of us can aggree that the punishment for breaking the rules around here is a joke and has been ever since uthgaard left

amelinda is a joke that no one takes serious hence the vp pulling thru walls infront of her and alist of other things ie limp punishments that get lifted secretly <straight joke if you ask me<

This server really does need some other gm in charge that strikes fear into people for breaking the rules cause of right now its a joke, reason you see people rmt/exploiting/hacking ect right out in the open.

Just play the game as is and enjoy it. If you are hung up on one point, one item, one guild, one anything, do something else and enjoy playing.

You're right, this server would benefit from more proportional and codified punishments. Your examples, however, do not hold water. If you're interested in picking up the prosecutorial slack in the court of public opinion regarding your examples, I suggest you start here:

In those very posts listed, she says that you were pulling mobs through walls to the ledge.

You were doing it to avoid trains (that faggotry you no-talent pussies started and has been made legal because there isn't enough manpower to police your bullshit in VP)

The fact she said it's okay is another matter altogether. To claim you weren't pulling mobs through walls so they would warp to the ledge is a flat out lie. You should be banned since she watched you do it. Period.

Get a clue #1 They allowed training there before VP opened so it was legal before we started

Get a clue #2 The mobs weren't warping at certain parts of the zone the dragons would decide to take a linear path over a scripted path. Sometimes they would, sometimes they wouldn't. The dragons still ae'd properly, and we still got adds on bad pulls. We should absolutely not be banned . Period

Pulling mobs through walls to the ledge is exploiting. You were exploiting, watched by a GM, and nothing happened.

That is shady as fuck, but par for the course on this server now.

This shit needs to stop. Punish cheaters, or just state on the front page that exploiting is legal.

Nothing happened, because the fault was on zone design and not on the guild. Get your VP key and I'll hold your hand through the zone to show you how it works. Oh wait.......
