I'm somewhat new to this server, Classic is rough for new players, the times I needed a port I paid out almost all of the platinum I had on my character (between 7 - 15pp) for a port. I port for free, so therefore I win the game... I think. If I have no interest in porting, I simply don't port your ass. I agree with th sentiment of high lvls tipping that low, but to play devil's advocate... if you expect it, or demand it, it isn't a donation, or a tip. It's a fee. And while I understand that people use their skills to make plat, necros summon corpses, or locate them... clerics res and buff, druids sow or port, etc etc...and I don't fault someone for it...

Melees can't charge for their abilities. And the next time you're on a raid and you rely on that mt, or that offtank, or the puller....and their gear isn't up to par because they had to spend x amount of plat on sows, or ports....

Once again, playing devil's advocate here. I don't fault people for charging for ports, or asking a small fee for their time.

no, tip depends on tipper. some afford more, some not so much. To each his own.

Getting pissy and making a big deal of the amount is probably why you're not getting squat. If someone pays me <15, I cancel the trade, because they need it more than I do. Aside from that, I consistently get 100-200. But then again, I'm nice.

I'm on my third level 50 but I still tend to tip 10pp because I grind exp more than I grind plat. I always ask when I tip "is 10pp ok?". Sometimes when I need 2-3 ports for a quest I can't afford 60-100pp to get ported around.

If you don't think my tip is ok then tell me. One wizard was really rude about it like I was trying to jip him. Even level 50s are broke sometimes.
