Boats are awful

Live had 2 boats and it was still awful.

Anytime Live had issues with boats failing, they'd put up translocator npcs.

Can't wait to log into a low pop retro server to sit on a dock for 45 minutes to get into a zone.

/rant. TLers were classic.

this server should implement a 20% chance of going LD while on a boat, so you can drown while LD

Boats are great. There's nothing funnier than someone jumping down from sky and having them get zoned into OoT because the boat happened to be there at the exact moment they hit the water.

This happened to me on Live on my first character on the first day. Lost my awesome Scarab helm. Shit's classic af. I would say bump it up to 85% tbh

The boat's running mostly correctly (ie no need for translocators) but we do need the two boats on the two routes for the BB/FP trip at this point. Plus I think there should be NPCs announcing those particular boats.

Yeah, they're classic. On live they've still got the two boats running the original routes. I hear boats are a real pain in the ass to code on the emu, though.

I fully support both ideas. I love taking the boat but the wait on the BB/FP boat can be brutal.
