You start adding jolts to your melee and your dps will plummet. Salindrite is not a good dps weapon.

BoF + Sal D: 152869 damage, 72.8 dps, 87 proc hits, 7 resists (all Thunder Strike) KF + Tolans: 136533 damage, 65.0 dps, 48 proc hits Dragonrib + SW: 138280 damage, 65.8 dps The reasoning behind Sal D in primary is because mainhand procs twice as much as offhand and a good chunk of Salindrite dagger dps comes from its proc (IF it is on a mob where it can consistently land). Also, there is a minimum delay possible with weapons. I'm not sure what the cutoff actually is (and it may be different on p99 vs this dev server), but if 18 delay with VoG + 41% haste hits it, then there is no difference in dps between 17 and 18 delay when under those haste conditions. On Takp Dragonrib has the 1 Fire damage bonus. and for fun... AHB + CoV: 157754 damage, 75.1 dps, 71 proc hits, 0 resists I actually had expected it to be significantly higher, but thinking about it, its not really THAT much better ratio than BoF, and it is slower. So it SHOULD only be a little higher. BBB: 154171 damage, 73.4 dps God Rune procced a lot though. Such a fun sword, but surprisingly not really better dps. How about old school? Yak + Yak: 77373 damage, 36.8 dps, 75 proc hits, 15 resists One last one... BFG + BoF: 429840 damage, 204.7 dps, 50 proc hits, 0 resists (lol wtf) BFG never existed on the new takp (plank does not spawn) so I don't think it has ever been tested on this dev server. It is definitely something to see. The delay was insanely low. | ||
