Just curious [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I would guess the High Res would be bigger being higher res and all. (Or does the low res look better? D[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
I'm also curious about this. Weird anomaly in compression algorithm?

Current generation compression. Deletion of files no longer needed. Not really sure, just guessing.

Can people post some more screenshots? I'd be interested in seeing more of exactly what this mod does.

Again , Love this! Nice work really appreciate it.
Really improves your banking experience.

If you want your Armor and Gear to look more detailed. SAME old EQ graphic just more detailed in the lines it is REAL nice check it out!

It stands out the detail in Iksar A+.
Pics are in my Magelo if you want an example of before an after.
Highly rec this for everyone. Fixes black spot bug too.

"Q: Can I help?
A: Absolutely! This will never get done if only I work on it. If anyone wants to help I can compile and distribute the files. I can also touch up the files if needed. I did this with Xevin's armor files. Send me a PM.

Q: What's the process?
A:Extract the character textures S3D file using S3DSpy (global_chr.s3d and global4_chr.s3d)
Open file in Photoshop
Incease size by 400%
Clean up what you can by bluring and smudging
Rebuild the pieces you need (This is the long hard part)
Save File As... Bitmap + PSD
Repackage global_chr.s3d using the bitmaps and S3DSpy
Check in game
Rinse, Repeat

Every texture has a standard naming scheme:
Example = "humch0001.bmp"
"hu" = Race
"m" = Sex
"ch" = Armor Location
"00" = Armor Type
"01" = Part

It's been a really long time since I've played so I'm not used to the vanilla textures, I had to uninstall the high res pack and reinstall the back up textures just to see if they were working & WOW, amazing work man!!

I don't know if anyone is watching this thread or not, but does anyone have an alternate download site for this? Every time I get to the end of this download it gives an error and doesnt complete downloading.
