Is there some hidden damage cap for rogs even at 50+?

Im level 56 Rogue with epic and green jade axe (17dmg)

Weird thing is, that the max normal hit either with epic or axe is both the same, about 90 with max str. Shouldn't the axe be doing 100+s if i pierce for 90s? Ive tested it for 2 levels now and the max hit is exactly the same on both, even tho axe should hit for way higher.

Was wondering is thre somekind of hidden cap for dmg to not go past epic dmg? atleast at 56..

So I'm no expert, but I believe the damage bonus is greater to your mainhand (epic) than your offhand (maybe even doesn't apply?) which is why the GJA doesn't outdamage your epic.

no dmg bonus on offhand.

problem solved.


edit:

after posting this i realized rogues might not have the main hand dmg bonus, but i'm 95% sure they do.

depnding on the level, i mean for the flowing water katana from PD in vp i rarely hit in the 100's lol and im a 60 rogue :P
