Is that the argument being made? That you're not allowed to kill specific mobs? I think we're all well-aware of the rules here. Clearly nobody is entitled to any mobs, but a player gaining experience in addition to any other rewards is getting more benefit from the mobs. And I would say mutual respect for that is what's behind the unwritten code, not an astounding lack of self-awareness or whatever.

If the argument isn't being made in this thread, it's heavily implied. My response is more or less towards this general mindset, as we get numerous threads a year bitching and complaining about higher lvl players killing lower lvl mobs and how "unfair" it is.
