If I wanted to cash in my chips, I'd have a nice sum. Just don't need to, because:

a) I enjoy playing
b) I have a job. I don't need to sell my EQ shit for McDonalds funds.

There are some reasons to liquidate stuff other than RMT. Suppose you plan to take a break from eq until velious comes out. I think it would make sense to turn your dropables into pp since plat doesn't just become insanely easier to farm but items get much better

The ratio was abysmal at the end with TR wrecking the economy. But for a hobby it was nice cash during kunark up until they left the server. I didn't give a fuck if the accounts sold for 50k at that point since i was done playing anyway.
