That's for the original UI & game plus Kunark. There was a huge gfx upgrade around Veilous which upped the requirements much more than what's above (transparent interface, etc.).

So Kunark on this server will be more demanding than what's above. However, it is fun for nostalgia sakes.

Thank you for this insightful information.

You're missing the point completely.

This was a joke, alluding to every single complaint that arises during an expansion where graphics are being upgraded. The hardware is so far beyond obsolete at this time that its hilarious to see what the minimums were back then.

Also, by your logic, everyone would have already had to meet the Titanium requirements, but considering the vast difference in hardware strain comparing the pre and post-luclin engines, the Titanium requirements are substantially beyond anything that will be needed on this server.

Just giggle at the fact that 10 years ago, people may have had to upgrade their computers to be able to enjoy what we will hopefully be able to this Friday.

I remember when I was a kid and first getting into computer games, I had to save up money to upgrade from my 386 PC because it wouldn't run Doom 2 smoothly.

Every time you fired a weapon it would lag for 2-3 seconds while it loaded the animation and sound. Those were the days.

I didn't have my first computer until like 1999 hehe. It had a 500mhz Pentium 3 processor, and 128MBs of RAM in addition to some crappy onboard graphics card. I later upgraded the ram to 192 and the graphics card to a geforce II so that I could play with horse models for Luclin!

Looks like I'll have to pull out my Riva TNT card.
