What kind of bags do you guys bike with? I think Messenger is pretty traditional. Biking with a normal backpack kind of sux, imo.

Just recently picked up this one, was using it's sister version for the last 3 years, and it's been wonderful. It's a little small sometimes, but that's what I have my back rack for, or if need be, the scooter.
I use a regular Jansport school type back pack.

Regular backpacks are incredibly uncomfortable to me. Plus your back gets all sweaty ewwww.

great thing about touring bikes is the gearing range is huuuuuuge. an 80 year old could spin with that load if he didnt mind going 8mph.

Its a vanity thing for me... I think Fenders and Panniers and Decks make bikes look... sorry... a little gay.

Not that being 300 pounds on my FX doesn't look pretty gay already but I am nearly 40 years old... so i shouldnt care what people think.

I WISH I could find a pair of cute panniers for my bike. I have never had any luck.
