Turned in Snow Griffin Souffle and Thoridain's Napkin into the Grand Historian Thoridain and nothing happened, items got ate.

"Once you've made the souffle turn it in to Grand Historian Thoridain with the napkin. Here I learned something useful. I forgot to turn in the napkin when I turned in the souffle. In my excitement in creating the souffle I had completely forgotten. I was about to petition that he had eaten my item when I realized the forgotten napkin, so I gave him the napkin and to my suprise it worked.

Grand Historian Thoridain says 'My compliments, Dyllwin , what a wonderful dish! Please accept my personal Seal as a token of my appreciation. May it give you power over your adversaries.

He gives you his Seal to give to Borannin with your second Prayer Shawl"

Adding another potential issue to the Third Shawl Quest.

At the beginning of the quest, you ask Loremaster Borannin "What chore" and receive <Borannin's Seal>. Giving this to Mordin Frostcleaver should result in faction and <Leif's Napkin>.

Edit: turning in the seal to Mordin does not currently give the faction hits.


EDIT2: Found an earlier entry for the third shawl write up, which was listed as "Feeding the Coldain".

Indicates that the faction hit should occur after turning in the Seal to Mordin.

I gave Mordin Borannin's seal and he said the following.

Mordin Frostcleaver says 'Hullo Dyllwin , I see you've signed on for a bit of food service eh? Well we can always use an extra pair a hands here dat's fer sure. First things first, warsh yer grubby mitts an cook up dinner fer good ol Leif. Shouldn be too tough fer ye, he has simple enough taste. Make him a Tundrabear sandwich an lemme know when he's been fed. Dontcha ferget ta give him this with his meal.

Just tried with Ally faction. Same result, items eaten.

Wrote the prayer shawl today. So, implemented, pending update.

just tried turning in again after the 3/20 11:50pm EST patch, items still eaten by Thoridain, both food and napkin. Ally Faction

Sigh. I was trying to rush through this and had copied another script which I failed to change.

OK, i'll try that now, I have most of 4 done ahead of that so we'll see how that goes in bit with that.

The work around worked. Found a minor issue with the #4 quest but I will make a new post for that.

Trita Coldheart dont back me the dirty pot when i give to her Frost Bunny Stew and the Trita's Napkin.

i did 2 times = 2 fails
