How do I get in touch with a GM? I was hurriedly trying to transfer my items to my druid before I went to bed, dropped em on the ground and logged, cool, but no there's a lore in one of em so I go to swap back, game error closes, takes me a few to get back on aaaaaaaaand my bags are gone. I know dropping your stuff is at risk but am I just screwed?

I did this some time ago to report a potential real money trader.
at first i thought it didn't help at all, then a GM came by in person [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
So I guess it works ...

This is not something in game CSRs can help with. You have to submit a Petition on the forums and in the drop down you can select Reimbursement

Also be aware this is an extremely long process and could take 4-6+ months

I wouldn't bother CSR with this, unfortunately I'm quite sure the rules are explicit that anything you drop is your responsibility, even if stolen by another player.

If you find yourself in that situation again, this is obvious but if you have the lore item on your character or bagged you can drop it on the ground, then pick up the one you dropped originally and swap back. That will start a new timer and you have another 5-6 minutes to pick it up.

Gotta drop the matching Lore item and pick everything up
Re-drop the second Lore and pick up the first
Then swap back


But moreso, don’t do drop transfers. Just get anyone else in the entire game to transfer the items for you. Nobody will ever, ever steal a transfer request. It’s so easy to petition it. Maybe tip them 10 plat for the tiny amount of time it will take. We all transfer for each other.

Can even get a DaP to come to your location for a xfer, but I'd give them a decent tip.
