Default Runspeed - correlation between client settings and/or Notebook/PC?

hi,

I have a strange problem with my unmodified runspeed.

On my crappy business Notebook I can kite a bunch of mobs quite fine (Bard) but on my better PC, not.

That means the circles I have to run, have to be way wider, because otherwise the mobs would catch me.

Of course I kite them in the same way on both computers but for any reason on one it works better.

What could it be? Client settings or the PC itself or what else?

Does your better PC feel like it has a worse framerate than your business notebook?

If your computer "hangs" or gets laggy the mobs tend to be able to catch up to you quicker.

If running in a straight line at least, run forwards and strafe at the same time...they'll never catch you, even if you aren't SOW'd.

Not at all, that's the strange thing. The PC runs perfectly fine and I can outrun the mobs, if I run straight, but for any reason the circles I have to run, have to be much larger or the mobs catch up.

Maybe a perception thing based on window/screen size?

hmm, probably but the difference isn't that big.

On my PC I run 1920 x 1080 on a 22 inch Samsung and on my Notebook 1680 x 1050 on an external monitor 20 inch Samsung.

Windows mode as big as possible to match almost the full screensize

Fps Limit to 60 or whatever your monitors refresh rate is will solve that.
