Default /q stops drowning
Had a guy rooted underwater, he started quickly losing HP down to about 50% then /q and the drown damage stopped while he was still in game LD. Happened too fast for me to get SSs but I'm sure it's easily replicated.

Good find,

I presume its because LD players are considered NPCs and the drowning laws dont apply to them

I believe this is classic, just as if you're about to fall 100000000 feet to your death and you /q, you'll live because NPC's don't take falling damage.

Good luck verifying, seems like it should be fixed but... yes the NPC laws paply.
