Spells: Magic resists don't match up to live

edit: ah i seee the pc lucy and they have more values such as
pvpresistbase -42
pvpresistcalc 133
pvpresistcap -57

so for bane

pvpresistbase -62
pvpresistcalc 135
pvpresistcap -78

what this shit mean? im guessing at 135 poison youll resist it?

pvpresistcalc = what you need to outright resist
pvpresistbase = what even level player starts at
pvpresistcap = what player at max level difference (i.e. 8 levels below caster) starts at

So for e-bolt: you need 133pr to resist but start at -42 so would be 175pr to resist
For bane: you need 135pr to resist but start at -62 so would need 197pr to resist

ye found a 50 monk with t staff on eqmac. waiting for him to level this week to check stun duration.

I was never once rooted on live with 75+ MR. It just wouldn't stick. People didn't even bother casting snare, root in PVP because they simply did not work. Anyone with some crappy MR gear could resist snares/roots. Please fix this issue ASAP. Anyone who claims it wasn't this way did not play TZ pre Luclin.

I think this resist is just absolutely great and a genius idea.

Custom EverQuest currently fits my interests so that's all I care about.

earlier today during pvp vs blue con SK, Sneet, i cast stun/force/roots & nuke upwards of 15+ times. stun landed twice! everything else resist

so resists dont seem too bad in some areas occasionally
