Guides are allowed to do this because:

1) F you, it's a guide.

2) They can hide themselves.

last i checked SOE doesn't run dis here show. also i'm sure there is the concern that a guide could be using their time in a plane to gather intel etc. but - i don't play on p99 anymore. *shrug*
