Looks like there's nothing you can do about it.

I updated my password using the proper methods after being SMS verified, and got the following message: All loginserver account passwords have been reset to the password provided.

Please consider donating to help us support the cost of the SMS System.

But still cannot login to the game, any tips?

Tried to recover my eqemulator password after SMS verification and got this message when I entered my username and email:

PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'p99link'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /var/www/vhosts/project1999.com/httpdocs/account/Services/account_functions.php on line 50

Looks like I am out of luck?

This authentication systems needs some love. Seems like it would be good to remove current 2FA and allow folks to add a new method. SMS is meh, but better than nothing, but it's easy enough to add TOTP, Hardware key, etc...
