Actually all you need is a decent wep.. Mith 2 Hander ( 21/40 with 31% haste) is my fave as a leveling Ogre or troll SK.. Leveled a troll SK to 52 on Rallos Zek using mostly no drop guardian, guk trash, and a basalt carapace ( PKED and used other Breastplates, but easy come easy go )

Ogre SK is pretty fun.. even if you don't have a healer you can fear kite...

As far as Troll vs Ogre... Ogre is much better

I don't know about the SK I was always nec or shaman back in the day and may just go back to one of those. I tried playing a troll a bit and started getting bored. I know dotting on pvp will probably get dispelled quick; maybe I'll shaman it up and have sow at least.

Shamans can work too, just make sure you play troll or ogre... I recommend troll as always for the regen, but as an Ogre u can facetank mobs and channel... which is great when you get torpor later on...
