I agree it has nothing to do with beeing blue or not. Sometimes you just want to take a quick brake and you sit beside a guard. It has nothing to do with beeing hardcore. There is no fun in logging out everytime when you need to go to the bathroom.

On the other hand, guards assisting is fun. Nothing like a good mayhem where guards jump in and may even kill a innocent. Guards assist is the lowbie version of PvP in PoH with Innoruk jumping all over the place.

Rogean said he was putting it in before server release. Apparently it did not happen. Out of all the bug fixes etc. this defiantly stands out to be #1 priority. Only people against are the griefers themselves who only kill people repeatedly to be an asshole.

I love PvP, but I am ALL for Guards assisting highest faction. That's how it was, has been and should always be.

Guards do need to assist.

Another one: Should guildmasters and other NPCs in your guild HQ also help? It's really lame to be talking to your guildmaster only to have someone come up and kill you. It may have been that way on live and I don't remember it though. I don't mean merchants, I mean guildmasters and trainers, your guildmasters and trainers.

I might be remembering other games more than classic EQ, where you couldn't touch someone in their guild HQ or home city.

(and any player in PvP range needs to con white no matter their level!)

I am hardcore pvp and I just can't bring myself to play with guards not helping. It's retarded. Makes me miss classic days even more lol.
