Miscellaneous: Ran Flamespinner doesn't kill goblins

I think we all remember on classic that when you were leveling in high keep and you needed to train, you went to Ran Flamespinner's room and he punched very fast for 300+.

I trained some goblins to Ran here on p99 and he just sat there watching me die!

i actually remember this as well.

Same. The guards killed the goblins too slowly. If you needed to be saved you went to Ran.

yes this guy does rock when you need help but i went in one time and he wouldnt attack them so i ran around to get him to attack and then he casted some shackle spell on me i guess a wizzy snare and then he fried the gobbs hehe must have been bugged

I doubt it was changed for any reason so a source from 2002 seems acceptable.

This guy hits for 300-400 and quads i seriousley doubt he is 45. dont belive me i always run to him when in trouble because the other guards always end up getting me killed not this guy go up there and ur safe for sure

I was in highkeep and somone kind of trained a guard and i had a goblin pretty low, below 50% probably around 25% and th guard killed and took all the exp, i thought you still had exp if teh mob was below a certain pertcentage, maybe i am misremembering. Anyone know?

this is kind of tangential, but if the Guard gets either 51% of the damage or if the guard gets the last hit, the Guard takes the experience. It sucks but it's classic.
