Nilbog has already responded. You won't get any traction on this.

He knows they should be MQable and its in the to do list but likely won't be touched until the era patches (June-December 2001) are completed.

I understand that this is on a to do list, I am just curious if there has been any progress made as to my knowledge the last response from a developer regarding this issue was almost 3 years ago. No I am not trying to hound nilbog, I am just genuinely curious if rewriting these quests is still a priority to the devs.

It never was a priority. Was always on the back burner and will continue to be until the timeline on P99 is complete.

Mqing is a classic unintended mechanic that needs to go away. Like recharging.
