Default AE Root

Hail all!

I am a 59 druid about 3 yellows from 60. (close but not really) I bought the level 60 ae root spell and was just wondering if it is as good as it sounds? I picture using it to lock down a room on the initial pull then single target rooting once under control. It kinda seems like it's too good to be true. Also what is the duration of this ae root? If it is 3 mins like the single target one that seems way op. I think the wiki says 3 mins but it's not always accurate. Just trying to look ahead a bit and get some ideas, any input is appreciated. Thank you!

It is as good as it sounds... sort of.

It is 4 target and lasts 3 minutes if full duration. In Classic dungeons and dungeons like Karnor's this is good.

Howling Stones, Sebilis, and Velious zones, where most mobs are 50+... This AE Root does 190 DMG, 2-3 casts puts most mobs in summoning HP. Most mobs over 50 will not last full duration. Those like Sebilite Juggernauts last maybe 30-60s if you are lucky.

It is OP in content that is green/blue. When the mobs are 51+ though it stops being OP.

Awesome, thanks Mr. Dald. Sounds like it has some utility. I would probably only use it while farming lower level stuff anyway. Or maybe finally trying estrella. Another tool for the tool box! Thanks again!
