We shouldn't have to limit our ability to communicate because you want global chat..

Man I hear you, typing /shout instead of /ooc is so crazy hard... you're right, you definitely need two channels to communicate with people inside your zone. Plus, red text is so scary lol!

By turning ooc off, we cannot read anything said in that channel.. obviously. That would put those of us who opt out of it at a disadvantage. Global chat makes GFay trading unnecessary, cheapens the experience of a massive world and it's abused.

So people shouldn't have access to something because you might miss out on information you voluntarily opt out of, and it also removes the need to sit in one zone on a low pop server and hope that someone happens to be logged in selling/buying the item you need/want. Sounds terrible!

I signed up for classic EQ. It's fine that you want an easier MMO, but that's not what Project 1999 is about. You had VZTZ, and I'm sure that was a wonderful experience for you. What I'm looking for though, is what Rogean seems to have in mind. He got Blue99 right, let's see how Red goes [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
