New player coming over from red - or am I?

Hi guys,

Gah title should say "to Red"!

I've played off-and-on on blue since 2010.

I'd like to roll a character on red but am concerned about the comments that I read about the server going away?

I don't want to invest time in something and then have it disappear.

Can anyone give me more information on the longevity of the red server with factual basis?

Are we? No. We have players asking if the box is going to be shut down because you guys keep saying we're going to turn it off.

Red server isn't going anywhere. There are no plans to turn off the box. Play here safe in the knowledge that your pixels will last.

You dont want to invest in something that goes away yet you are alive... curious.. how do you reconcile this disparity

If you dont mind shit messed up for a year, with gms giving 0 fucks.
If you dont mind soloing 1-60.
If you dont mind 0 gms on.
If you dont mind the gm who runs this server, saying he gives 0 fucks about red.
If you dont mind broken resists.
If you dont mind.... You get the picture.

I would say. Stick with blue til the next new thing comes along.
