Necro - Words of Darkness Quest Help

Tried to do this Quest between two accounts (multiquest)

According to the wiki, I thought I needed to hand in Book of Frost, Shadowed Book, and Book of Darkness + 300 Gold.

I looted the Book of Frost (no drop) and the Shadowed Book on my wizard. So I tried to MQ those 2 items to Vurgo from my wizard and I received a Note??

Wasn't sure why I got the note, but I figured to just move forward, so I logged onto my necro and handed the Book of Darkness + 300 Gold and got nothing.

In hindsight I realize I must have done this wrong. I am guessing you turn in the shadowed book for the note; and then you can turn in the note + book of darkness + book of frost + 300g for the Words of Darkness??

Is this even MQable? Had I just turned in the Shadows book for the Note, and then seperately handed him the note and the book of frost. After that Log the necro over for the book of darkness + the 300 gold and I would receive the Words of Darkness?

The wiki explanation was very confusing at least for me, and when I tried to speak to Vurgo about the quest, I couldnt get him to reply.

I did that quest not one month ago on one single toon. The wiki states the order in which you must do the turn-ins, though it could be clearer. I'll see into that.

Vurgo is a bit picky with what you need to /say to get him talking (e.g. "/say what words of darkness" will get him talking, whereas "/say words of darkness" will not).

First turn-in is the book that drops from the Shadowed Men. Vurgo will return you a note in exchange.

Then you turn-in: the note, the Book of Frost, the Book of Darkness and the 300 gold pieces -- and get the Words of Darkness.

I dont know if it can be MQ or not.

It can indeed be MQ'd.

I did the same thing as you though, turned in the Perma book, gold and Shadowman book on my Druid, and got the note back. And thought "well fuck". Then I figured I may as well turn it in, and then I had guildie who was on my necro at the time , turn in Cyanelle's book. Got my iksar necro insta clicky Allure. Very handy for someone who doesn't want jboots and would like to refresh spell gems without invising and breaking pet.

Just like SoulFire. One of the items must be turned into the quest NPC first to get a note back. Then the note + other 3 items gets you your final item.

Ya, unfortunately I did not turn in the note or else it would have worked when I logged onto the necro I am assuming.
