Question Multiple Versions of Water Textures??

At the docks in Freeport, I see the dark blue water. At the docks in BB, I see the super shiny nice water. In random places, I see the transparent water.

It's completely random what texture I see where. Just seems a bit odd.

1) It is normal for this client.
2) Yes, I am able to put the new water in old zones that are missing the upgrade.

For example, here is East Freeport with new water. (Sorry it's at night)

3) Is this something the server GM's want done even though it's not classic water?

Go to EQ/Resources/WaterSwap

This tells the client to swap out images in the zone files. Edit the WaterSwap.ini file.

Add the zone you want to change.

Use the zone name as referenced by the client. For example to change East Freeport you put in:

[freporte]
ReplaceThis1=oW1.bmp
ReplaceWith1=NewWater

Classic zones could use different versions such as W1.bmp and oW.bmp. I assume that oW stands for ocean water and W for water.
