Default Ambient void

When using Windowed Mode the ground and sky are replaced by a sort of ambient void. In the character selection screen it's black, in Toxxulia Forest it's a sallow ocher colour (the same colour as the fog), and in Erudin it's gray. The character, nearby NPCs, and environmental objects are visible and unchanged. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

yeah actually i just had this problem a few days ago. for me i had to turn off advance lighting in the in game options, it was because i was running my desktop in 16bit color mode to play some older games. so check your desktop default color scheme and move it to 32bit if it's on 16, els trying turning off advance lighting.
