Default Movie Remake You'd Actually Want to See?

Nowadays it seems like the movie industry is flooded with remakes, particularly super hero remakes.

I personally think a remake of Lawrence of Arabia could be good, the original changed or left out so many parts of his life that I thought made a better story. Also the impact that WWI had on the middle east gets overshadowed by the effects in Europe with versailles.

What about you guys?

The Alejandro Jodorowsky version would be awesome as a remake. Lynch inherited a mess that he had no idea what to do with. Did the best he could.

I cant think of many things I want to see remade. Im looking forward to some of the original stuff finally being worked on. Brave New World, Snow Crash, Neuromancer, and a few others are on my radar.

I was tempted to list that, but then there was that mini-series, and look how that turned out [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Then Blade Runner came to mind, would be my 1st pick by far, but just no! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Maybe Event Horizon, cant mess that one up any more [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] ...though prolly would.
Maybe if we just scuttled the movie industry and started over? :/

We'll see how Lynch does with the next iteration of Twin Peaks. Loved that shit the first time.

Actually I would like to see a non-animated remake or adaptation of Fritz Lang's Metropolis. Probably a lot of good old silent era stuff that could be remade and updated.
