Default Website chat box for in game chat.

Website chat box for in game chat.

At some point wasn't there a website with a chat box so you could talk with your friends who were in game?

Well I'm not 100% sure or not but it would be nice if we had it for this server [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

I remember this as well. During either the Luclin or PoP expansion when you could join chat channels there was a program called I think EQIM? You could run the program and join the same chat channels as people playing the game.

It was awesome for people bored at work like myself.

Rogean mentioned that once a bit more of the website/world server integration is complete we will have, e.g., a list of online guild members, and see the current guild motd. I didn't ask if we would be able to type /gu or /tell commands into a website box and have them routed to the world server. Maybe?

Aye, was EQIM. From what I remember it worked for a couple of patches, then SoE stopped supporting it.

There is already an IRC channel. Maybe they could implement an IRC client in game.

Well I don't want to ask the Admin/Derv's to do more work. I think they are doing a great job with the server so far and I just hope they keep it up.

I was just at work and wanted to be on the game. So I was just wishing for something to let me be in the game is all [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

The chat system already supports that.
