Default EQ using desktop cursor.

tonight I went to tab out of EQ, when I tabbed back in, the EQ cursor was gone and EQ was using my desktop cursor, I tried zoning, camping, logging out of the client and back in, it uses the eq cursor til past char select, once my char pops in it uses the desktop cursor.

if I switch from the standard UI to the velious UI it then uses the EQ cursor so I assume it is some sort of UI problem.

does anyone know how to fix this so my standard UI will use the EQ cursor again instead of the desktop one?

Did you check the default folder for the .cur files?

yea, when I logged into my mage using the default UI the cursor was back to normal, so it must have been something in the chars UI file, so I just copy pasted my mages UI file into my SKs and it seems to have fixed the problem.

though would be cool if I could still figure out what exactly caused the problem so that I can avoid it / fix it easier if it were ever to happen again.

Upon messing around with the third version of the Velious UI, I was actually trying to get rid of the ugly EQ cursor. The way I managed to get the default system one was to delete all .cur files so it's definitely tied to that.

My guess would be to make sure that all your UI folders have the relevant .cur files.

That is correct. If you have a UI mod without a cursor listed in its elements, it defaults to the windows one.

I'm glad it's fixed.
