Can you have more than one account?

Hi everyone! I am wondering if you can have more than one account?

I used to like to have a lot of alts and would be nice to have one account for good characters and another one for evil characters.

Sorry if this has already been covered. This is only my second post on the forums.

I am a new player trying to get on my feet. No characters over 20 and no friends/guild mates yet.
