Pretty much the best ruleset ever concieved for an MMO. Too bad it didn't have item loot.

Unfortunately, I don't believe you lost exp when you killed yourself 100%

I used to take massive hp gear and before i died, i would just take it off and I would die from a suicide, no exp loss or loot. Such as a +55 hp ring; just take it off and you die.. BUT it's hard to master, so it really doesnt take away much from the game

It did tend to trivialize travel. But you're right, suicides gave 0% exp loss on at least Sullon Zek and I strongly suspect Rallos as well, because people would pull their rings constantly to escape PvP death.

LOL, here, people would lose far more exp doing this than just taking it like a man.

If death by environment is really at a far greater penalty than death by mob (or even if it's different at all) then duh, that's silly/wrong. Unless.. someone can PROVE it was that way! Oh wait then it's still dumb, sorry.

Theres not supposed to be XP loss on suicide deaths according to an old RZ article I found. I just drowned myself on red99 and lost 10% of a level.
