Nilbog if it would please the court, this spell had different functionality in PvP vs PvE.
I think it was unresistable in PvE and sent mobs to their bind. However, it is documented as having a brief stun and applying a very small shadow step to the player in PvP. Its data suggests that it is indeed resistable in PvP: pvpresistcalc 135 pvpresistbase -62 pvpresistcap -78 Being a stun, it should make an all or nothing type of roll when making a check. Right now it is counting the dispel as the primary component and making it unresistable, I believe.

Iv had a casted dispell like annul or something resisted by a sebilis mob. Cant speak for highsunning let alone highsunning a difficult mob thats a caster lol that would make it really trivial.

played a bard for 4-5 years on live, spent a good week or so in skyfire doing this highsun gates the mob to its spawn point, so basically what bards would do is highsun random mobs in the zone until you found the one that spawned at eldrig the old's spawn location think some guy ended up being nice and MQing it for me it should pretty much never land in pvp though because of the stun component, and it lands 100% of the time here, which is utterly retarded for anyone playing a caster

So if you can dispel anyone regardless of range, can you do the same with high sun?

not sure, but probably
also reiterating since i didn't in my previous post that highsun is in fact supposed to be unresistable in PvE

Another issue with Highsun, though secondary to the problem of it being unresistable, is that it stuns for 1 second instead of 0.001s.
Many spells that have a stun component (e.g., enchanter nukes) historically all had stun durations of 1ms until late 2004: 2004-12-15 10:29 Changed Slot 3 from "Stun(0.00 sec)" to "Stun(1.00 sec)" The Velious spdat for Highsun shows its stun attribute as having a value of 1ms. The p99 spell file also shows the same. But on p99, any spell with a stun value <1000ms (this includes mez) stuns for a full second regardless. Is this intentional?

yeah i always thought it was supposed to be an instantaneous duration ministun, not a 1 second stun that i was getting hit by
