It is most definitely a processor problem. EverQuest is screwing up probably because of this. What you need to do is disable one of the processors when starting up EverQuest. Sounds like a painful process but its pretty damn easy. Heres what you do to fix it:

There is an option inside that says something like Fix multi-core processor issues. Get that going and it should leave a new EQ shortcut.


Works more efficient for me :P.

What syanide said should be the solution to your problem.

When you originally posted you said you had tried everything so I figured you had done this already, but maybe not. Just set the number of cores EQ is running from to 1 and it should fix your problem. If it doesn't please let us know and I have some other ideas for you to try.
