Cheap necro STR gear with secondary stats?
75 str just isn't cutting it. I'm pretty much naked at 33 with a bag of sewn evil eye, large soiled bag, a sewing kit (for giant items), and 4x 35% groi bags (mostly for .4 weight).
This fine steel is quickly filling up for better or worse and I'm not looking forward to 12+ levels of spec hunting with the scythe weight. So, would it make sense to buy a cheapish set of low weight STR gear with another primary stat? (int, mana, hp). Or just save up for CoS / Jboots? Any suggestions?

Most of the Netted Kelp gear has STR on it.
https://wiki.project1999.com/Netted_Kelp_Armor But Idk what your version of cheap is. p99druid sells it pretty regularly you might be able to strike a deal.

Perhaps you're using the wrong bags. If you're an iksar, you can buy the shaman's alchemy bags in cabildo. If your a dark elf, you can buy them in oggok(grove. If you're an erudite you can have someone buy them for you. Dropping from 3.0 Stone backpacks to 0.4 bags will save you 20.8 stones. Also a lot of cheap sacks like shralok and dusty ransackers are all 0.4 and have WR. Could get 4 of these all different sizes for less than 750pp(if you're good in the tunnel less than 400)
Good luck | ||
