Sure would be nice if guilds competing for NToV mobs had another 2 safe areas to set up raids so they aren't all sitting on top of each other, pulling through each other.

Also - It is classic to not have these drakes pathing through here.

Bump. It's classic to have 2 safe spots in NToV with no roaming flurry drakes.

Bump.

This came up during our nerd summit yesterday.

Removing the flurry drakes which path through NToV in the hallways between Triplets and Doubles would open up two further safe locations to set up a camp, allowing for more opportunities and more places for guilds to park out.

That aside, the far more important reason to remove the drakes is they are not classic as the evidence shows in this thread. They were added shortly after Luclin launched.

See the first map posted. Those two points labeled "Safe Spot" currently have Flurry drakes roaming through them.

Bump

Remove these so guilds have several classic raid locations back.

There seems to be a stubborn refusal by the devs to address non-Classic issues that in any way affect the endgame, even for the better.

Bump. Need to remove these non-classic Drakes to further facilitate classic NToV raiding. Many guides include parking a mage in the safe hallways before Triplets and Doubles and pulling to there.

If this hasn't been fixed after this much time it's pretty obvious they are just ignoring the issue because they think it is better the way it is. I'm sure it makes sense to them somehow in their "infinite wisdom" to claim not classic when removing any kind of convenience to the players, but when we find issues that aren't classic that make our lives harder, they get ignored. I can't be the only one noticing this.

They will come around to this once the zone is done as classic intended it to be done.

Removing the Flurrys that make the Doubles corner and Triplets hallway safe is a great start to a classic NToV experience. If these descriptions aren't sufficient PM me and I'll get you the Drake spawns that aren't classic for removal.

Were all flurry drakes absent in classic or just the named ones?

Because it appears the non named ones can spawn in the place of other ones you normally find named in. The one by trips and twins can be a named or just some random Onyx Sky Defender. I think that applies to every spawn point where a flurry will spawn, as well. It differs on every clear.

No flurry drakes at all makes the clearing much more manageable with low numbers.
