Alla (http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.html?id=3780) among other places is replete with comments about how these snakes rarely (but actually) dropped the spell "Summon Corpse" on live.

I wonder if it would be possible given the "ninja-poopsock" (that's what I'm calling it anyway, haha) on the Ishva and its ridiculous pop timer if the developers could advise whether the spell drop from the snakes has been implemented on p99.

I can handle the truth, and a simple "not-classic" will do the trick. As will "classic, but not yet implemented".

I honestly don't know. Just asking to prevent myself from spending a couple days there for nothing. Spent some time there this morning and only saw giant snake fangs and rattles. The few other necros i asked told me as far as they know it does not drop on p99. One said he hunted a ton of them to no avail.

While this is hardly the concrete answer you're looking for, the P99 wiki lists the spell as only dropping from The Ishva Mal, so I'd be inclined to say that the additional mobs capable of dropping the spell were implemented on live at some point after classic (probably post-OoW or whenever the splitpaw revamp went in that put the old mobs out in SK).

I doubt they revamped those snakes to drop a classic spell in OOW...

And the revamp didnt have these mobs in it anyway,.

90% sure they do drop it here. I remember some necros in mischief picking up theirs this way.

I did 4 or more levels on those snakes. Haven't seen a single scroll.

I also killed alot of snakes, never saw it.
