Default IP exemption post problems/addition

I hope this is the right place to put this, as I'm not sure where else.

So I found out about Project 1999 the other day and was excited to relive classic EQ again. Back in the day, my family and I played the game for many long hours. Excited, I installed/updated, and assisted my mother with the same, as she also expressed interest.

Come to find out via reading the rules that two accounts logging in from the same IP address requires a special IP exemption. Okay, no biggie, I can do that. So I go to the forum and make the post; I read the posting rules and followed the guideline, noting that the only post I will be able to see is my own (makes perfect sense). I got up from the computer and came back a bit later, refreshed the forum...no post.

Huh, maybe I didn't properly submit it. Okay, post again, same problem. Well, dang, maybe I didn't screw up the post. Hopefully it worked.

I came back to the forum a day later and now there are both posts there...whoops! Sorry, mods! So I'm hoping this doesn't screw up or delay the IP exemption from going through.

But this isn't the only reason I'm making this post; I looked at my posts and cannot find a way to edit them whatsoever, either to delete or ADD to them, because it turns out that my stepfather also wishes to play. So is there any way I can add his account/name/info to the post, or how else should I go about solving this?

Any and all help is appreciated!

Alrighty, thanks Braknar. I just remember reading that bumping it was bad, so I was hesitant. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
